Cashmere is the finest natural material essential for winter garments. Blending cashmere with the common cotton used in shirt fabrics is actually a technically challenging feat, achievable only through meticulously selected materials and high expertise. The fabric known as "Cashmere Blend" embodies a soft warmth and a distinct, gentle hue that can only be expressed due to this blend-something you can feel the moment you touch it.

I own about a dozen Kamakura OCBD, and at least 5 in the Vintage Ivy series. An extra button at the bottom of the front placket would be great for taller people, but that's just a nice to have. The shirts get better with washing, except the NAVY one. The color fades (to be expected) even with cold washing and air drying. I find it makes the shirt a little less attractive than the others. It's a common problem with dark navy cotton garments after repeated washing. I will buy more Vintage Ivy shirts for sure, just not this color.
This sweater does everything I wanted it to do and more. Casual or dressy. Cozy but never hot. An heirloom quality piece to last my lifetime and for one of my kids to inherit and enjoy. Thank you Kamakura Shirt for your good taste, and intentionality in quality execution.
