We are happy to refund any items provided that you submit a return claim within 14 days of received shipment. Make sure that return items are in new and unused condition, with tags attached. The only exception allowed is when an item has been tried on briefly for sizing purposes.
We reserve the right to refuse worn, soiled, washed, damaged, altered, or heavily odorous goods. Final sale items, unless proven to have arrived damaged or defective, are not accepted. MTM (Made-to-Measure) and “Choose Your Size” products are also final sale items.
If the product is proven to have arrived damaged or defective, we will cover the return shipping cost and send a prepaid shipping label. For any other reasons (sizing issue, or unsatisfied color or pattern, etc.), all shipping fees for returned item(s) must be at your own expense.
You will receive an email once we have received your returns. Returns will be inspected and processed within three weeks. If the return is approved, your refund will begin processing to your preferred method of receipt. If denied, we will notify you of the rejection and reason for denial.

In-Store / Other Kamakura Shirts online store returns
We do not accept merchandise purchased at the New York Kamakura Shirts store or from Kamakura Shirts U.S. Online Store.
Any merchandise purchased at a Maker’s Shirt Kamakura store in Japan or through the Japanese website (http://shop.shirt.co.jp) must be returned to a Maker’s Shirt Kamakura store in Japan or to the online store department in Japan.

At this time, we do not offer exchanges online. The best way to exchange your item is to place a new order and return your original purchase for a refund.
