After several Vintage Ivy button down shirt I now found the shirt, that soles the two problems thatbdid not make the Ivys my perdekte shirt: it has the perfect body length and the front buttons close much deeper. This now is perfect!
The oxford shirt in size 17 fit me perfectly, almost like a taylor made shirt. I am 179 cm and not skinny build, sleeve lenght was on spot, length of the shirt perfect. The fabric itself is superb and feels great on the body, the open collar got true 1960ies vibes, movies and music of this area come to mind. Kamakura is a jewel in the shirt makers world. A fantastic shirt with a timeless Ivy style. The seersucker fabric is lightweight, breathable, and perfect for warm weather, while the construction and overall quality are excellent.
For sizing, I'm typically between a European 39/40. I chose a 16½ for a more comfortable, relaxed fit, and it was exactly what I was looking for. If you prefer a roomier fit rather than a tailored one, sizing up worked well for me.
