Kamakura Shirts Grand Opening

Kamakura Shirts New York Co., Ltd. will open the Kamakura Shirts order salon in The Graybar Building, which is directly connected to Grand Central Station, on Thursday, September 19. This marks our return after approximately four years since the closing of the Madison Avenue store due to the impacts of COVID-19.

About 12 years ago, at the end of October 2012, we opened our first overseas store on Madison Avenue. For eight years, we learned the affection of our American customers, but closed at the end of 2020. Since then, local staff have continued to take off-shore orders for custom shirts through regularly held trunk shows. Thanks to the support of our customers over the past four years, we are able to reopen. We sincerely thank you for your continued support.

At this new order salon, we will offer a personalized service that is more closely attuned to contemporary needs by welcoming you through a reservation-only system and responding to your expectations and requests.

The store will display selected off-the-rack shirts, ties, trousers, jackets, knits, and coats, handled by Kamakura Shirts. In addition to consultations for custom shirts, it will also serve as a showroom where you can relax, try on clothes, and place online orders. Our skilled staff will propose total coordination tailored to each customer's lifestyle. Experience the craftsmanship and world view of Kamakura Shirts that we have cultivated since our founding in 1993.
