An Ivy-style icon has emerged: a black knit tie that faithfully recreates the atmosphere of the 1960s. It faithfully replicates the weaving technique of that era and features a simple 5cm width design. It pairs exceptionally well with button-down shirts and is a must-have item for achieving a classic style.

*Please note:
I don’t often wear ties. But when I do, I prefer a knit. Black. Silk. Knit. Like the Q branch Aston Martin, this is handy to have around. Liscenced to thrill.
So many versions of this exist on the market, and I've bought most of them, but this Kamakura version just absolutely nails it. It's the ideal width and quality of material which ensures you can make the perfect neat tie knot. A great tie !
This jacket epitomises the best of ivy league style and tailoring. The herringbone jacket is in an excellent medium weight cloth that makes it suitable for all seasons. The sizing is perfect and the cut of the jacket meas it hangs perfectly. Well done Kamakura on another masterpiece.
NY Classic was perfect fit, just as described in the detailed size guide. The Tokyo shirt of same size was too small. But, it gave me an opportunity to experience the return/re-order process. Very smooth for US buyer. DHL pickup same day. I ordered (2) custom shirts to test the waters for make-to-ordr. Most of my shirts are custom from US brand. The off-the-rack Kamakura was superior to those. Happy new customer.
The perfect sweater
A really nice shirt, constructed well with nice details. The print is crisp, fabric irons nicely. A standout part of my wardrobe.
Finally a pair of higher waisted pants that aren't shaped like a balloon. They've got a flattering masculine shapes, nice thick fabric, and still comfortable.
As the other reviewer said, check the size guide and measure yourself honestly.
