Inspired by the traditional Japanese textile technique “Kasuri”, which has been practiced since the Edo period, this shirt is produced in Nishiwaki, one of Japan’s leading textile regions, combining modern techniques and sensibilities.

The depth and richness of the fabric come from the advanced art of yarn-dyeing.

Each pattern is carefully planned at the yarn stage to determine exactly where to dye. Even designs that resemble stripes or checks are meticulously adjusted according to the arrangement of warp (vertical) and weft (horizontal) threads, creating a unique texture and layered visual depth.

Fabric & Craftsmanship
The fabric is made in Japan, woven at a factory in Nishiwaki, Hyogo, a region renowned for Banshu textiles.
Traditionally casual Kasuri is elevated with a dress-shirt maker’s sensibility, resulting in a modern design suitable for urban wear.
The fabric has excellent breathability, keeping you comfortable even in warmer seasons.
The shirt achieves a perfect balance of relaxed comfort and refined silhouette.
Due to the meticulous craftsmanship and time required, this is a rare, limited-production series.
