Vintage Ivy Socks

We brought special socks suitable for Vintage Ivy from Halison, a leading Japanese sock maker. The three-stripe crew socks were a big hit in the 60s and 70s when Ivy style was in full swing in Japan. These socks have been remade and reissued in a modern version using organic cotton. The back yarn that touches the skin is made of a special stretch cotton called CSY, which has a high-strength polyurethane core and is covered with cotton on the outside, resulting a strong and pleasant to the touch to the socks.

The good fit makes them suitable for non-adjustable leather shoes such as Penny loafers.

Great color and fit

Purchased 4 pair these within the last 3 months. The color is perfect - not an, "in your face" bright white, but a soft, muted ecru/cream. They're just the right weight and thickness. The fit is excellent, as is the workmanship. They look great with loafers, boat shoes, sneakers, and suede lace ups. In my opinion, they're an excellent value for their price. Thank you!

Great style, bad durability

I bought multiple pairs of these and introduced them to my sock rotation around a year ago. I really enjoy the styling of these, they are just about perfect. Unfortunately multiple pairs have already torn a big hole around the heel. For the price-point I expected better.

The fit and color of these socks is better than what I had expected and by the way, I expected a lot. The crew color is beautiful and the fit of the socks is excellent. I have worn them with jeans and I have worn them with khakis and with a variety of style of shoes And the added touch that they add is terrific. I suggest you buy all three colors and buy multiple pairs of each. You will find them in rotation often I love the quality.
