Regular price $190.00These five-pocket pants in off-white or khaki twill are a faithful reproduction of the pairs worn by students in the 1965 photobook, Take Ivy. To ensure historical accuracy — such as no rivets — Kamakura Shirts collaborated with “Doctor Denim” Yūji Honzawa, who is renowned in the industry after working for two of the largest jeans manufacturers in their peak years. The Take Ivy Five-pocket Pants are made from a special cotton blend called “Crystal Sky” from the illustrious Japanese spinning mill, KURABO. The pants’ unique high rise is not just a period detail but perfect for tucking in a vintage Ivy shirt. And Kamakura Shirts worked with the sole company in Japan able to achieve rolled-out seams, which help give the pants a rustic vintage feel that only grows more interesting with every wash.

Great denim that will take some punishment. Be aware that these sit on the waist, not down at your pelvis, so evaluate the fitness of your abdomen and size accordingly.
This jacket is top quality and very good fit, not much to add than - great product.
These are excellent shirts. The fabric is top notch, the details are classic without being overwrought, and the all-important collar roll is both an homage to the shirts of yore while still being distinctive. A wonderful and worthy addition. Perhaps in Indian hand-woven madras someday?? Insh'allah...
Had a minor problem that was sorted quickly and the delivery was just as quick. The shirt is very good quality, as expected and for me the best fit around. Won't be the last one I buy from Kamakura.
The quality of Kamakura premium shirts is usually really high but for me, these shirts just don't finish to convince me. The first wares of this shirt felt a little rough but after two washes it improved instantly. However the fabric had frayed in many places on the pattern, something I have only experienced on this wool shirt.
This shirts are a great premium alternative to easy-care shirts. They are wrinkle-resistant and don't retain odors. On the other hand, is more difficult to remove stains than other cotton shirts so take care of them.
If you want to buy one of these shirts I recommend buying a solid pattern.
