A shirt where vintage character meets modern sensibility — featuring an indigo-dyed ombre check pattern.
Only the navy check sections are dyed with indigo, allowing for a unique aging process and color variation over time.

The workwear-inspired double chest pockets add a strong accent, making it easy to style simply by throwing it on.
A casual shirt that transcends trends — designed to be worn and loved for years.
Highly recommended for those who appreciate a rugged and character-rich piece.
■ Care Instructions (Indigo-Dyed Products)
This product is dyed with indigo. It has a natural texture that is unique to indigo dyeing, and its distinct fading will develop with each wash. Please check the care label and take note of the following:
Color transfer may occur due to friction or when worn with other garments.
It is recommended to wear underwear or inner layers in similar colors.
Wash separately, as the dye will bleed. Light-colored items may yellow due to UV exposure or humidity.
We’re happy to offer a refund for any items eligible under our return policy within 14 days of receiving your order. For full details →
We use a dynamic pricing system for shipping. The chart shows estimated shipping fees for a 3kg parcel. If your order reaches the free shipping threshold, shipping is free (customs duties may still apply). Otherwise, the fee will fall within the estimated range. Final charges at checkout are the most accurate, as they depend on the receiver's location, currency rate and the actual weight of the parcel.

*Please note:
Great quality. A little stiff right out of the package. Softened up after one gentle wash and hang dry. The size Large was perfect for me at 5'11" and 160lbs.
The boring bit: Delivery from Japan was fast and seamless.
About the shirt:
I've been wearing OCBDs for over a decade at this point from various makers. I now regard this as the benchmark because it's a quantum leap above the rest. The cloth is satisfyingly heavy and yet beautifully soft. The roll on the collar is delightful and the cut of the shirt itself is roomy without being baggy allowing you to move without hinderance. The end result of this is a shirt that is comfortable enough for a lazy Saturday and yet smart enough for the office.
I’d been eyeballing this blazer and a similar style from J.Press for awhile now.
I pulled the trigger, actually ordered it in both 40 and 42 not knowing which would be best.
I’m 51 years old, 5-9-1/2in and 195lbs
The size 40 is perfect in every way, not too tight or too loose, sleeves and length all perfect.
I even took it to two tailor shops and both said it was spot on.
I haven’t been this happy with a menswear purchase in years and I’m a huge menswear guy.
I’m confident you’ll love this too. I feel like I could walk into 1959 Princeton right now and fit in. Sadly probably as a professor!
Great overshirt! Never experienced heavy linen before and it's great. Doesn't wrinkle as much as less heavy ones. Would be awesome if Kamakura shirts offered more heavy linen clothing such as trousers, etc. And some more information of the fabric, like g/m², in the description. Will definitely buy more!
Just purchased my 3rd Ametora OCBD - they are absolute perfection in terms of cut and comfort and the delivery service from Japan is excellent. I cannot recommend them enough.
