About Zuiganji Temple and the Garyobai Plum Trees
Zuiganji Temple is located in Matsushima, Miyagi District, Miyagi Prefecture.
Two plum trees are planted in front of the main hall: a red-blossomed plum tree on the right and a white-blossomed one on the left. Their branches spread and twist along the ground, resembling a dragon lying down. This distinctive appearance is what gave the trees their name, "Garyobai" (Sleeping Dragon Plum).
According to legend, Date Masamune brought these trees back from Korea and planted them himself.
About Botanical Dyeing
Botanical dyeing is an innovative Japanese dyeing technique developed from traditional Japanese plant dyeing methods. As the name suggests, botanical dyeing uses natural materials such as plants, flowers, and berries to create dyes for coloring fabrics including cotton and wool.
Conventional plant dyeing typically uses approximately 20% natural dyes, while relying on a considerable amount of chemical agents to fix the color.
In contrast, botanical dyeing uses a special binder to attach natural components to the fibers, maintaining a natural dye content of over 60%. This innovative technique is designed to minimize the impact on both the environment and the human body. Furthermore, a single plant can contain more than 100 different pigment components. This gives botanical-dyed products a rich depth of color that cannot be replicated with synthetic dyes, making each piece uniquely appealing.
Merino Wool T-Shirt
Made from 100% Australian merino wool using fine SUPER 100's fibers (18.5 microns). With its refined luster, this T-shirt pairs beautifully with jackets and matching sets. The back of the neckline is designed with a higher rise to prevent direct contact between your skin and the jacket, helping protect it from sebum and skin oils.
Merino wool naturally regulates temperature, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. It also offers excellent breathability and moisture absorption, along with natural antibacterial and odor-resistant properties, keeping your skin feeling fresh and comfortable throughout the day. The T-shirt is also machine washable. Thanks to wool's natural odor-resistant and antibacterial properties, it stays fresh even when air-dried indoors.

Perfect fit with the sleeve length adjustment. The light blue color had very good opacity.
Absolutely love these shirts! The vintage Ivy is my new go to. The fit, the details, they iron up so easily. I have 7 different colours now, can’t see myself ever buying another brand again.
After first wash in cold water and hanging to dry, the shirt shrunk and is unwearable.
I love the color of the green buttondown brushed oxford (the photos are an accurate representation) and the soft yet substantial cotton almost feels like a lightweight flannel.
The hole expierence was more than satisfying! Marvellous shirt! No extra cost! Wont be the last shirts i am going to buy!
