Regular price $590.00Crafted from premium flannel woven by Miyuki Keori, a renowned Japanese wool mill with over 100 years of history, this blazer offers exceptional comfort, structure, and timeless style. The fabric is woven on the rare Schonherr loom, producing a soft, lofty texture while maintaining excellent resilience.
Fabric
Unlike modern looms that operate at approximately 400 shuttle passes per minute, the Schonherr loom works at only about one-fifth that speed. This slow weaving process allows the yarns to retain more air, resulting in a fabric with natural fullness, softness, and a refined appearance.
The fabric is also finished using a traditional milling process with natural soap rather than the synthetic detergents commonly used today. This gentle treatment preserves the wool's natural softness and enhances its rich texture and character.
Styling
Pair it with wool trousers for a classic tailored look, or combine it with flannel trousers for a refined seasonal ensemble. Thanks to the jacket's substantial weight and soft drape, it also pairs effortlessly with knitwear, creating a smart yet relaxed outfit for cooler weather.

*Please note:
This shirt attracted my attention because it’s claimed to be made of “extra heavy” linen - unlike your typical summer lightweight shirts you find everywhere. While I expected “extra heavy” to be somewhat heavier, I admit it’s not a measurable category unless gsm is provided; yet, for me it ticks this checkbox.
I had to remove one star for a simple reason: when completely buttoned down, one half of the shirt is noticeably shorter than the other. This flaw remains after ironing and washing - see the photo. I find it unacceptable given Kamakura’s aimed premium market segment and the emphasis on not compromising on quality.
The delivery to Germany was fast and problem-free.
very soft and nice tee shirt, I like the thickness of the cotton.
I returned to purchase this Oxford for the 2nd time, that speaks volumes the quality of the products. The customer service support has been very good & professional as well.
Great quality. A little stiff right out of the package. Softened up after one gentle wash and hang dry. The size Large was perfect for me at 5'11" and 160lbs.
After several Vintage Ivy button down shirt I now found the shirt, that soles the two problems thatbdid not make the Ivys my perdekte shirt: it has the perfect body length and the front buttons close much deeper. This now is perfect!
