Regular price $125.00Pure Japanese-Made Fresco Tie
A special fresco tie born from Japanese craftsmanship and modern design philosophy.
Developed in collaboration with GENETEX JAPAN, a tie manufacturer based in Hanbara, Aikawa Town, Kanagawa Prefecture, this rare, entirely Japan-made fresco tie brings together the textile heritage of the region with contemporary manufacturing technology.
Hanbara has long been known for its textile and weaving industry. Drawing on this tradition, skilled artisans combined their expertise with modern simulation technology to create a distinctive texture and exceptional feel that stands comparison with fine European-made fresco ties.
The defining characteristic of this tie is its combination of the crisp, dry hand and lightness unique to fresco fabric with a substantial density and fuller body.
Traditional fresco ties can sometimes have a drawback: the fabric is relatively thin, resulting in a knot that lacks structure. To address this, the weave density was carefully engineered to create a fuller knot and a beautifully defined, three-dimensional dimple.
The moment you tie it, you will notice its ideal balance of firmness and resilience. The knot holds its shape throughout the day, helping maintain a clean and refined V-zone.
Its crisp, dry texture adds a sense of lightness to spring and summer tailoring, while the substantial weight and body of the fabric allow it to blend naturally into classic autumn and winter ensembles as well.
Lightweight, yet substantial.
Classic, yet contemporary.
A versatile fresco tie born from Japanese craftsmanship, designed to be enjoyed throughout the year.
