It was the first time for me to buy Kamakura's spread collar shirts. I have always loved the cutaway collar, but recently, no combination of the cutaway collar and double cuffs was available. Therefore I ordered two of this.
The spread collar is not bad, but the point length is too short. In my opinion, a spread collar is more elegant when the points are covered by the jacket; the points of this particular collar are not so. Spread collars with exposed points may be considered fashionable in some pars of the world, but do not complement an average gentleman's visage as well as a generously large one does.
In addition, the interlining of collar band is fused to the outer side, unlike the Kamakura shirts that I had previously purchased.
Other than the collar, the shirt is well-cut and well-made per usual.

The fit on these Tokyo slim shirts are like they're made specifically for my body. The fabric is also beautiful. I don't want to wear any other dress shirts...
I am 6'0'' and 170 pounds and (in a size L) the shirt was too small after a wash. The sleeves, in particular, were comically short. I offered the shirt as a gift to my friend who is 5'9'' and 165 pounds and it was still marginally too small on him. You should not purchase these shirts if you are these heights or weights. Still, I leave five stars because the quality of the shirt is top notch, and, ultimately, this sizing mistake is my own error due to a lack of research. Do not make my mistake!
Material is amazing and the quality is worth it. However, I recommend sizing up from your normal shirt sizes. The arms are too tight. If you are a guy with big arms and shoulders, size up. Your chest size wont matter.
Best shirts your money can buy (especially during sales). Make sure you understand your sizing though.
