About the Fabric
Dyed using botanical dye inspired by the seasonal changes in the "Yokoin" garden at Myoshinji Temple in Kyoto, this polo shirt embodies the colors of summer, achieved through the vibrant yellow pigment of the gardenia flower.
The gardenias are harvested before birds scatter them on the ground, allowing for their pigment to be extracted and repurposed, creating a lively yellow perfect for enduring summer heat.

For the shorties out there you may be better having sleeves made to length bespoke style

At 5’10 178 the 16.5 is the perfect fit for me. I don’t think these ivy vintage shirts should have a fitted nature they would feel loose even when tucked in. The sleeves are a tad long for my size but nothing a quick tailoring can’t fix. Favorite shirt in the wardrobe, very versatile.
This is actually a second time I bought a shirt from Kamakura, but this size and fit is the first and it fits me perfectly. The fabric also feels nice on the skin. Overall was a very impressive piece and the shipping process was super fast. Will definitely buy from Kamakura again.
