The shirt exceeds my expectations. I’m genuinely surprised how well it fits - very flattering. Takes a little effort to wrap one’s head around the Japanese method of measuring but I’d say worth the time with fit results like this.
Wonderfully made, quality feel, and the ecru is a versatile colour. Looks amazing with dark jeans and brown boots.
I’m 5’10” and 185lbs with a 44” chest. the ecru (51)/ 16 1/2 fits like it was tailored for me. Room to move. When moving arms to extremes no pulling. Just the right length for tuck. And just the right amount of space midriff down to waist for those of us past our slim fit days. Hands down my best shirt purchase in many years.

This is lovely! The buttons and the collar are both especially nice, and the cut is a nice balance between slim and blousy.

Be aware that the color looks very different in different lights. In some lights, you can barely tell it's not white; in others it's almost yellow.

Another excellent shirt from Kamakura! The fit and finish of this OCBD is outstanding. It’s difficult to find men’s shirts in ecru. Few shirtmakers (in the USA) offer this color.
