Crafted using a manual knitting machine, it boasts a soft, fluffy texture that improves with use—a "nurtured cashmere" that becomes even softer and more comfortable over time. Unlike automated machines, this manual process relies entirely on human-powered operation, resulting in unique patterns and a plush, voluminous feel that automated knitting cannot replicate.
The scarf uses a 2x2 rib knit, characterized by vertical ribs on both the front and back, creating a soft, elastic texture. It is thicker and more resilient compared to standard rib knits. While the pattern appears simple, it can only be achieved through manual knitting machines, making it truly special.
Unlike many cashmere products that undergo heavy finishing to enhance softness, this scarf’s finish is intentionally minimal. As you wear and wash it, the cashmere will gradually expand, enhancing its softness and developing a natural sheen—true "nurtured cashmere."
[Care Instructions]
To maintain the texture of this "nurtured cashmere," hand washing is recommended:
- Remove any pilling or stains before washing.
- Gently hand wash in warm water (below 40°C) using cashmere shampoo or a gentle detergent.
- Rinse 2–3 times until the detergent is completely removed.
- Lightly press out excess water for about 20 seconds.
- Reshape and lay flat to dry naturally.
