We have sourced fabric from the Nishijin area of Kyoto, famed for the production of silk textiles. Its beginnings can be traced back to the fifth century when kimono materials were woven from silk. The fabrics produced here are neither vibrant nor eccentric but are gracious and calm, reflecting the transience of the four seasons experienced in Japan.- Silk 100%
