The "BREUER for Kamakura Shirts" double-name necktie has now become a masterpiece for Kamakura Shirts, beloved by many customers. The light and lively colors and patterns reminiscent of the sea have a high affinity with the atmosphere and culture of Kamakura, naturally integrating into our collection.
This time, we have created the dress shirt "French Collection" with the ensemble in mind with BREUER. We offer two types: a soft, spacious spread collar and a French Ivy-scented button-down. From the fabric to the intricate patterns, adjustments have been made for the French tradition of Kamakura Shirts, all made in Japan.
Button-Down Collar (SPORT)
A must-have for the traditional style, the button-down shirt with a rolled collar. Combining a U.S.-inspired B.D. shirt with BREUER's distinctive French twist in the form of a reverse regimental tie is highly recommended. This adds elegance within a sporty impression. This season, we have added striped patterns to our collection. It's a craftsmanship that both French enthusiasts and fans of American traditional style can appreciate.
The essence of a button-down shirt lies in the graceful curve of the rolled collar. Even when the first button is undone, the collar stands three-dimensionally and neatly, making it suitable for an untied style as well.
By narrowing the back yoke by 2 cm compared to the standard, an elegant mood emanates from the back view. This is the secret to achieving a smart appearance even with a sporty button-down shirt.
Italian Spread Collar (Unfused)
It achieves a perfect balance of being more relaxed than traditional dress shirts but without sacrificing a sense of sophistication. The silhouette offers ample room without overly accentuating the body lines, and the collar is designed with consideration for the fit with BREUER's ties, showcasing attention to detail.
These may be subtle details, but when you put on the shirt, you will likely feel, "Theres is something special about this shirt."
By designing the back collar width 2mm longer than usual, even with the thick and voluminous BREUER ties, the fit is excellent, providing a neat and polished impression.
By eliminating the back darts, it achieves a relaxed and spacious demeanor. The natural silhouette is characterized by fabric gently falling from the underarm towards the waist, creating a laid-back and comfortable look.
By using a horsehair canvas for the interfacing, we've achieved a soft collar that naturally conforms to the body. Removing the included collar stays allows you to showcase the soft texture of the collar, offering a recommended option.
