This pop-over was created with inspiration from the white ppoover shirt worn by jazz trumpeter Miles Davis during recordings with his quintet in 1955.
It was made from a special interlock fabric meticulously knitted at KANEMASA's Wakayama knit factory. By using high-quality yarn and giving thickness to the stitches, It exudes a rugged yet elegant and refined impression.
Furthermore, it is a simple design that is easy to pair with casual outfits. The natural shell buttons and distinctive pullover style add accents, allowing for a stylish and relaxed look when worn on its own. At 5’10 178 the 16.5 is the perfect fit for me. I don’t think these ivy vintage shirts should have a fitted nature they would feel loose even when tucked in. The sleeves are a tad long for my size but nothing a quick tailoring can’t fix. Favorite shirt in the wardrobe, very versatile.
This is actually a second time I bought a shirt from Kamakura, but this size and fit is the first and it fits me perfectly. The fabric also feels nice on the skin. Overall was a very impressive piece and the shipping process was super fast. Will definitely buy from Kamakura again.
