Drawing on Mr. Marsh's expertise in 1960s jazz and Ivy League fashion, we present authentic button-down shirts that capture the essence of that era, skillfully crafted by Kamakura Shirts.

The Ivy style, transmitted from America to Japan since the 1960s, once dominated the fashion culture of that era and continues to be embraced today. Japanese enthusiasts meticulously honed this "IVY" style, and as a result, its quality and excellence garnered recognition even in the West. To the extent that it was re-imported to the United States.

Together with Mr. Graham, we dedicated ourselves to pursuing the iconic "Button-Down (B.D.) Shirt," a cornerstone of American Trad style. From the fabric to the silhouette, and even down to the roll of the collar, we spared no effort to perfect the B.D. Shirt that was admired in those days.

Those familiar with that era may find it nostalgic, while the younger generation may perceive it as "fresh and stylish."

Great Shirt, just 10% to perfection!

I like that fabric and in total it is a almost perfect shirt. Great fabric, perfect cut for a casual shirt. Why then just almost perfect? Because there absolutely should be one more button in the front. There ist one more button totally missing, because the shirt is always spreading apart above the belt.
In my opinion this one more button would make it the perfect and worlds best casual shirt!

Fantastic Material and quality

Fantastic material and quality. Looks great with dark jeans. Fits great around the shoulders. Not intended to be worn untucked, as the last button sits quite high but that also means the last button doesn't rub against your belt. I'm seriously considering purchasing this in other colours as well.

Clean White OCBD!

Crisp and clean white OCBD, I love pairing this shirt with my dark indigo jeans on casual Fridays!

The collar is attractive and the material is not very see-through in my opinion, making it a great piece to wear all-season!
